Wilma J. Billmeyer, 89, of Guttenberg, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, at Guttenberg Care Center. 

Visitation was Sunday, Nov. 16, at Morris Funeral Home in Guttenberg and before services at the church.

Funeral services were Monday, Nov. 17, at United Methodist Church in Guttenberg, conducted by Rev. Neil Hofer.

Burial was at Guttenberg City Cemetery. 

Wilma Jean was born on July 14, 1936, in Guttenberg, the daughter of Frank and Elizabeth (Bolsinger) Billmeyer. 

Jean enjoyed sewing and made many pillows and blankets that she loved to give away to her children, grandchildren, and others. She appreciated being with family and going for rides in the country. She was a lover of animals and adopted many dogs and cats over the years. She spent her free time arranging and rearranging her furniture along with hanging and rehanging pictures and making collages with various items she could find and make fit. 

Survivors include her children, Gary (Rene’) of Guttenberg, Pat (Susie) of Colesberg, Terry (Peggy) of Waukon, Donnie (Audrey) of Seattle, Wash., Connie (Rob) Maser, of Des Moines, and Mike (Julie) of Dubuque; siblings, Larry (Kathy) of Dubuque, Pete of Colesberg, and Rich (Cindy) of Sherrill; 26 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Richard Moore; sons, Steve, Richard Jr. (Herk), and Brian; siblings, Midge (Letha), Alvin, Harold, Evelena, Clyde, George, Edna, Anna, and Shirley.
