Celebrate Mother’s Day in Marquette and McGregor. The McGregor-Marquette Chamber of Commerce is holding “Between the Bluffs with Mom in the Ports of Discovery,” beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 9.

Visit businesses throughout the day to complete a task and stamp a bingo card. A blackout will make the participant eligible for the grand prize of $100 in chamber bucks. Second and third place bingos will receive gift baskets.

The chamber will hold a plant swap and sale at the chamber office, 146 Main St. in McGregor, from 9 a.m. to noon and also be selling Ports of Discovery coloring books.

Also enjoy mimosas and jewelry at Eagles Landing Winery in Marquette; chocolate covered strawberries and an edible cookie dough bar at By the Spoonful; mocktails at The Left Bank; Tea with Anne MacGregor and stories of McGregor at the McGregor SpecialTea Shoppe; a flower giveaway at Pocket City Pub; and photos at Great River Care Center and Turner Pointe Assisted Living and on the Alexander Hotel porch. Navy Rose Co., Free Spirit Boutique, Peak Fuel, Backwoods and The Brim will have unique promotions.
