Donald Howard Miller, 93, passed away peacefully in Clovis, Calif. on Dec. 14, 2025.
Graveside services with military honors will be held at 1 p.m. on Oct. 3, at Farmersburg-Wagner Cemetery in Farmersburg, followed by a reception at the Farmersburg Community Center.
Don was born on Nov. 22, 1932, he grew up in Guttenberg, son of Howard and Irene (Harnish) Miller. He was an Army Veteran having served during the Korean War.
On May 8, 1956, he married the love of his life, VaNelle (Henning) Miller at St John Lutheran Church in Farmersburg. They raised their family in Waterloo. He retired from the IRS after 35 years.
He is survived by his five children, Jeffrey, Rebecca, Suzanne, Scott, and Jennifer; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren and younger brother, Robert (Ramonna) Miller.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 68 years, VaNelle, in 2024.
