Central Boys Golf

After storm damage delayed their Class 1A district meet at Lake Mills one day, the Central boys golf team got on the course May 19. The Warriors posted a team score of 343, sandwiched in between eighth-place West Hancock with a 342 and 10th-place West Fork’s 344.

South Winneshiek led the field with a 310, followed by Saint Ansgar at 318.

Individual scores for the Warriors were not listed on Bound.

A post from Central coaches on the school Facebook page congratulated the team on a strong season and for representing Central well.

“While the team will not be advancing to state,” it read, “we are incredibly proud of the hard work, dedication and growth they showed throughout the entire year.”
