The Central girls golf team played in just one meet last week due to weather, facing MFL MarMac and Waukon in an Upper Iowa Conference triangular at the Waukon Golf and Country Club on April 13.

With a score of 224, the Warriors were the runner-up behind MFL MarMac’s 201. Waukon finished the meet with a 227.

The Bulldogs turned in the top five individual rounds, led by a 47 from medalist Devon Meyer and 51s from Hadyn Meyer and Taylor Randall. Katie Royer and Ella Frieden shot 55s, for Central’s top scores, followed by Avery Fette with a 56. Brylee Erickson turned in a 58, Payton Stannard a 69 and Rayanne Dunlap a 73.

This week, Central hosted Turkey Valley and South Winneshiek for a conference triangular on April 20. The team will play at the Clayton Ridge Girls 18-Hole Invite on April 23.
