MFL MarMac placed sixth of nine teams at the Class 2A boys golf district final at Gates Park Golf Course in Waterloo on May 18. The Bulldogs shot a combined 336, just three shots behind North Fayette Valley and four back of Denver.

Aplington-Parkersburg, Grundy Center and Columbus Catholic posted the top three team scores of 312, 316 and 322.

Grundy Center’s Judd Jirovsky was the top individual, earning a 70 over 18 holes, and Camden Brenden of Columbus Catholic was the runner-up with a 74.

Dayne Anderson led MFL MarMac with a 79—good for 11th place. Jarett Hanson shot an 85, while Will Miller and Jaxon Lamborn each turned in 86s. Maddox Hanson finished the meet at 90 and Wes Corlett 92.
