Progress continues on the new Casey’s gas station being built at 100 Johnson St. NE in Elkader, which is expected to open in early November, pending construction timelines.

The store will be 3,219 square feet and offer diesel, unleaded with ethanol, unleaded no ethanol, midgrade no ethanol and premium no ethanol fuel options. The store will offer Casey’s convenient and craveable snacks and delicious prepared food, including its iconic pizza, which is prepared fresh each day using made-from-scratch dough.

Representatives from Casey’s shared, “We’re investing in Elkader because it is a quintessential Casey’s community. About half of all our stores are in towns of 5,000 or less, where team members know our guests by name, making us a trusted neighbor in the communities we serve.”

Each new Casey’s store typically creates between 25 and 35 full- and part-time positions.
