Next week is homecoming week at MFL MarMac. Playing off the football team’s opponent, the Camanche Storm, this year’s theme is "Storm Warning: The Dogs are Coming."

Activities will begin on Sunday, Sept. 27, with ironman volleyball in the gym at 5 p.m., then powderpuff football on the football field. The homecoming court will be announced at the conclusion of powderpuff.

Monday, Sept. 28 marks the start of week-long dress up days. The first day’s theme is “PJ Day,” followed by “Surfers vs. Bikers” on Tuesday, “Color Day” on Wednesday, “Country vs. Country Club” on Thursday, then “Bulldog Spirit” on Friday.

The homecoming court will visit Garden View Place in Monona on Monday, then Tuesday, Sept. 29 is highlighted by hallway and float decorating. On Wednesday, the high school will enjoy a grill out courtesy of the Clayton County Pork Producers, then an afternoon of games. On Thursday, Oct. 1, the homecoming court will eat lunch with the elementary students.

Friday is a busy day, beginning with the parade at 2 p.m. The pep rally in the gym will follow, including recognition of the homecoming court and crowning of the king. That night, the Bulldogs will take on Camanche. The queen will be crowned at halftime of the football game.

Homecoming festivities will conclude on Saturday, Oct. 3, with the homecoming dance that evening.
