MFL MarMac sophomore Kensey Ball has received second team all-conference softball honors in the Upper Iowa Conference’s big school division.
Ball played in 33 regular season games for the Bulldogs, where she was a threat both at the plate and on the base paths. She led all regular varsity players with a .372 batting average and .465 on base percentage—numbers she reached thanks to a team-high 32 hits. Over a third of them were extra-base hits, including seven doubles, three triples and three homeruns. Ball also showed patience at the plate with 15 walks, tying her for second among MFL MarMac players. Once on base, she swiped 10 bags on 10 attempts. Along with eight RBIs, Ball tied with teammates Kacie Picha and Kendyll Egan for a team-best 20 runs scored.
