MFL MarMac freshman shortstop Tyce Wikner was named to the Upper Iowa Conference Big School Division first-team all-conference baseball squad following the 2026 season.
Wikner earned the honor after batting .357 with 15 hits in 42 at-bats. Seven of his hits were doubles, and he added two home runs while driving in seven runs and scoring nine times.
He finished the season with a .449 on-base percentage, giving the Bulldogs a productive young hitter who combined the ability to reach base with extra-base power. Wikner also contributed on the mound, pitching 19 innings and recording 11 strikeouts in his freshman campaign.
His selection placed him among the conference’s top players despite being one of only two freshmen named to the first team. Cain Rodgers of North Fayette Valley was the other ninth-grader selected.
Wikner’s first-team recognition provides a strong starting point for a player who still has three seasons remaining with the Bulldogs.
